Vrs superbug help

Ok so i wanted the vrs superbug but i saw for steam edition it needs the tacpack. I dont have enough money for the tacpack right now but i want the superbug. I still have a boxed fsx but it crashes alot and steam edition is smoother and bug free? So does the superbug work with fsx steam without tacpack or no because if it doesnt im not sure if i should get it unless i get tacpack for free from someone or something like that but that probably wont happen

Im rather sure the aircraft has to be brought in conjuntion with tackpack, i think that many of its systems need the extra module to funtion properly, and besides your better off saving untill you can get tackpack, hen you will have the entire exsperience, rather than risk it not working.

If your boxed edition is crashing it's likely related to:

1. Doinked install
2. System set up
3. Combinaton of both

I have the VRS and am running the boxed gold install of FSX Acceleration and the game/aircraft work great.

I can guarantee that the superbug works fine as a standalone product

It may work stand alone but your missing the entire point... Tacpack makes objects killable, not just in the Superbug, but in many others as well.... It will work but, why would you go without tac pack?

I might get tacpack a little later but right now i mostly want the superbug right now. Like if a sale went on for the tacpack i would get it but i cant get it right now

as I said, the superbug is fully compatible and doesnt require the tacpack...
however when there is a patch, it breaks the bug and tacpack iuntil vrs can come up with a patch...
Yes the tacpack makes objects killable and includes refueling tankers and carriers
