Airplane stairs... etc.
I would like to know what can you recommend as stairs and trucks etc. etc. I always park my plane and I don't have anything to get the passengers out!!! :-)

GSX by Fsdreamteam. Adds all the services for any airport you have installed

FSX default, I always ask ATC for a GATE parking spot. That way I get a movable Jetway (ctrl-J), baggage conveyor belt and a baggage vehicle. When ready to depart I get a pushback tug.

FSX will also add all these services to any airport you add if the developer coded GATE parking with a Jetway.

Yes Aviara... But I have much more than the 17 that is there. Even though it's somewhat expensive they are very beautiful! Right now we have 15772 cities!!! :-)

"GSX" by Fsdreamteam adds ground services to all of the airports, not to be confused with their other airport products :) http://www.fsdreamteam.com/products_gsx.html

EDIT:You can also try it out for free, though the trial is limited to three airports one of which is Munich

YellowJacket but the regular Jetway is not sufficient for many many airports. I always end-up with an open door which is empty. :-)

A developer coded Jetway is probably not sufficient either right? I would like for example a passenger stairs for aircraft. 2 for example for first and second door. Also a FUNCTIONAL Jetway because almost HALF of the ones that we have are not functional.

Anyway it's not that important because we would use it on arrival and departure. Probably a half of the people use the arrival no? I think a fully functional stairs cargo doors would be good. Not one that is open and the other... OPEN as well! :-)

Kabacus I don't understand... 'Fsdreamteam adds ground services to all of the airports'. OH yeah? Please... Can you tell me how??? But still... $$$$! :-)

Nobody mentioned it was free (and considering the work that goes into it I am not surprised).

It added the stairways and baggage handlers to this screenshot:

This vid shows more (though it is a year old)

GSX IS NOT free. It's payware. Yes, you can try a free demo, but it's restricted to 3 airports (LAX, Munich and Seattle if I remember correctly).

You may want to re-read what I posted before coming in heavy handed.
"Nobody mentioned it was free" doesn't imply that is is free. If it was free I would have posted: "Nobody mentioned, it IS free"

Who's saying I'm "heavy handed"? That's just your general assumption based off 2 lines of text. If I wanted to shout and force points across, I'd be using exclamation marks and lots of other obvious methods of screaming and shouting.

In saying what I said I am *inforcing* what you said. Alongside mentioning their is a demo available should the OP be interested in checking the product out.

In using capitalisation in your response it indicated, to me at least, that you were trying to correct/contradict something you were quoting from myself.

Given that I had posted earlier that there was a free trial option that was limited in airports and given that I do not, in my opinion, infer that it was in any way free in the post you have quoted I feel that am being quite reasonable when I feel that you have come in heavy handed.

If that was not your intention then I will post no more on the matter.

'Who you calling heavy handed?! HUH?! Watch what you say kiddo!!!!' - Now that's heavy handed :P

I read the posts before you editied your post stating there was a demo.

"Last edited by Kabacus; 1 hour ago"

Those few seconds between yourself posting and then editing must of been when I loaded into the topic myself.

That's why I never saw your comment stating that in the first place, my apologies for that one. *offers a handshake*

Wow Kabacus... This is very cool! Tell me... If I buy this program... Is it just 3 airports or ALL the airports? How much is it by the way? (I am just lazy Kabacus! :-) )

GSX is currently £28.29. If you purchase it, GSX will be active at every single airport in FSX. It's honestly worth every penny. I cannot praise it enough.

*accepted* the episode is already fading into the past.
