How do we set up keyboard and mouse controls? I dont see them in the game any place. I just got the game and and new.

If you are talking about controlling the aircraft with the mouse? Then you just press ctrl+y in game. Keyboard controls are already set up as default.

I do advice a joystick though, like the Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X, a good quality joystick and not that expensive as well!

I want to get some real controls. I hope to start taking pilot training soon.

If you have the budget for it, consider geting a yoke and some rudder pedals. It's likely, but not definite, that you will start your training in a Cessna 152/152 or something equivalent. They mostly have yokes.

Yes 150 and 172. I want to get a setup that will be the same for the house. I have a projector and alarge wall waiting! I have been looking at the yoke and pedels but dont know waht to get. I know starting from scratch in this industry.

All depends on your budget mate. You can go for CH or Saitek for consumer quality sim products or you can go for the full scale replica Cessna yoke from https://www.flypfc.com/?/products/yokes/cirrus-cessna-yoke/ if you have $2000 to spare just for the yoke itself.

Saitek also made a Cessna Yoke system and only priced 200! http://www.saitek.com/uk/prod/cessnayoke.html

That's my current yoke. I like it, but be aware that the elevator centering is a bit sticky. I've learned to live with it. Love the yoke otherwise.
