Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition

Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition

triple monitor to zoomed in to play
i have tried searching for 2 days to solve this and i cant. im running triple 27 inch monitors on windows 10. when i do the cockpit view im way to zoomed up. ive done the control enter and all those commands and the zoom out sticks me behind the seat where i cant see through it. i watched a video and someone was saying go into config and change display. on windows 10 i cant find it. i unhide all files but still cant find anything that says display.

i know you probably get 100 people a day asking the same newb questions and im sorry for having to ask, i just dont know what else to do.

ive tried searching for wideviewaspect and nothing came up. %AppData%\Microsoft\FSX-SE didt work either...i cant even find it in the search C

the fsx.cfg file is located here:
C:\Users\(Your user name)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX

[Display]
wideviewaspect=True

if its not there, just add it under [Display]

Eyepoint
To move the eyepoint this way . . . . . . type this
Reset* CTRL + SPACEBAR
Tilt down* CTRL + Q
Tilt up* CTRL + SHIFT + Q
Periscope up SHIFT + ENTER
Periscope down SHIFT + BACKSPACE
Zoom backward CTRL + ENTER
Zoom forward CTRL + BACKSPACE
Dolly left CTRL + SHIFT + BACKSPACE
Dolly right CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER
Reset* CTRL + SPACEBAR
In terms of motion-picture camera movements, tilting means aiming the camera up or down without changing its position in space (and panning means aiming the camera left or right without changing its position in space, but FSX does not offer that eyepoint adjustment). Dollying means moving the entire camera left or right. Zooming here means to get closer to or farther away from the center of the screen. I don't know the proper term for moving the entire camera up and down, so I've used "periscope."
*These are the only three that work in 2-D cockpit view.

Zoom
Zoom in Press PLUS key ( + )
Hold spacebar, then mouse wheel forward
Zoom out Press MINUS key ( - )
Hold spacebar, then mouse wheel backward
Reset Zoom level Backspace key
All work in both 3-D Virtual (F9) and 2-D (F10) cockpits.

hope these help
