Embraer ERJ 145LR Add-On [Official]
This is the official discussion thread for all things related to the FSX: Steam Edition add-on Embraer ERJ 145LR by feelthere.

http://store.steampowered.com/app/379566

Embraer’s 145LR is a 50 passenger variant of the Brazilian Embraer Regional Jet (ERJ) line-up. Launched at the Paris Air Show in 1989, the 145LR was intended to offer greater speed and comfort than the turboprop aircraft typically in use at the time.

The LR suffix indicates a long-range variant with increased fuel capacity. The turbofan engines are controlled by Full Authority Digital Engine Controls (FADECs) which monitor numerous engine functions, all of which have been authentically replicated in the FSX: Steam Edition incarnation of this beautiful aircraft.

The 145LR for FSX: Steam Edition, from FeelThere, includes a separate configuration tool used to customize the way you fly your aircraft. You can access this tool via the Tools menu on the Steam client.

Call me dense but i cannot for the life of me find the "The 145LR for FSX: Steam Edition, from FeelThere, includes a separate configuration tool used to customize the way you fly your aircraft. You can access this tool via the Tools menu on the Steam client." Help a poor pensioner out.

Can somebody tell me where this "Configuration Tool" is located. I have 81 items listed under the LIBRARY/TOOLS showing none of which bears any resemblance to a Configuration Tool. Starting to get really miffed with no help on this subject, please post a reply asap.

FeelThere ERJ 145LR "Configuration Tool" OR Rather the missing Link
First let me say sorry for posting in this forum, but as I am getting no reply from the Pinned "So it must be Important" on the so called official discussion site, in desperation I am reaching out to the wider Community.

Please can anyone point me in the right direction to find this Configuration Utility. Quote "The 145LR for FSX: Steam Edition, from FeelThere, includes a separate configuration tool used to customize the way you fly your aircraft. You can access this tool via the Tools menu on the Steam client." Unquote I have checked my TOOLS Items until my eyes bled, I have 81 Items in the said TOOLS none of which even remotely show this as an available download, really starting to get miffed with the lack of response from the "Experts" they have no problem taking your money but resolving problems seems to be way down on the priority list. Moan over, please if someone knows the location of this elusive Configuration Utility, I would be very happy to be able to get back to following the 80 page manual with tutorials for this aircraft.

2 seconds on Google and you can find your answers:

"Start - All Programs - Feel There - PIC ERJ 145LR - Configuration"

Thanks for the reply The Configuration Utility that needs to be run before launching FSX_SE itself is the problem, i have been to the site you kindly pointed out, the link is for 2004 edition, that said i followed the link and it only directs you to the main FeelThere web site i could not find a seperate download link for the Configuration Editor, still in limbo.

Thankyou for trying to help, i do appreciate your time. BUT believe me there is NO Configuration Tool on my system, nor can i find a downloadable file on the sites suggested, I agree that it shows details for a downloadable /exe file but no link to the said download. The crux of this problem is, that you should be able to go to the TOOLS section under LIBRARY in Steam where there should be a link to this Configuration Utility, it simply does not exist even though in the description of the DLC it plainly states "The 145LR for FSX: Steam Edition, from FeelThere, includes a separate configuration tool used to customize the way you fly your aircraft. You can access this tool via the Tools menu on the Steam client." Believe me if i could find the download file on google i would already have solved this problem.

Considered a re-install just incase anything went astray?

Yep tried that, still no elusive Configuration Tool. Reading through the forums, i see that this problem is ongoing, they link you to various places showing you how to use the said beast, but strangely not one simple link ie ABC_lookhere_Dopey.zip its just so frustrating :steamsad: But again thanks at least you have tried to help.

Hi everyone,

We are sorry for the problems that you all have had downloading the Config tool. This was caused by a hosting error on Steam. We have been working closely with Valve and have now republished the config tool. You should be able to find and download it from the Steam tools menu.

If you have any further problems please let us know.

Once again we are sorry for any problems this may have caused.
