google maps satellite texture ?
is there a way to replace fsx earth texture with google maps stellite photos , yes i know about tileproxy. but i dont need it to be that complix. i just want it for one country not the whole world, for example germany.
is there a way to get that ? and not to be a flat world. like google maps satellite photo (photoreal ) on top of real mesh.

There used to be a freeware tool going around called FSET (FSEarthTiles), where you'd draw an area on a map, and it'd download and install the Google Maps/Yahoo Maps/Bing Maps etc tiles for you.

These tiles are then mapped onto the mesh you have installed into FSX, however, there won't be any autogen. Due to the nature of photo-scenery tiles, the autogen gets removed.
