Keyboard Template Map for FSX / P3D

I tried looking online this morning for a keyboard template showing common keys used for FSX and P3D. I was only able to find examples in tabular form. Which is ok but I wanted something that replicated the layout of the keyboard itself. It was surprisingly difficult to find one. So I downloaded a blank template and created one from scratch.

I've uploaded a PDF version if anyone wants to use it and the original Publisher file if you want to make your own tweaks or create one for a different sim.

One thing I will say - it is too hard to read in A4 format and would definitely be better in A3 size if you intend to print it off. However, the way I intend to use it is from my ipad where I can zoom in to make it easier to read and scroll around. (see screenshot)

Can I download the keyboard map, cut it out and paste the individual keys onto perhaps, a rubber/jelly keyboard cover?

Can someone tell me how to edit these files? What program do I need? I am trying to play IL2 Sturmovik 1946.

Thanks very much John. I'm anxiously waiting on the new FS to by released for Xbox and in the meantime have rediscovered FSX again :) For a long time the game wouldn't load and gave an error but all of it sudden FSX does load and I like it still.
