team speak does not connect with fsx
you need to login to the ts3 server by ip address
team speak has nothing to do with multiplay...
if you wanna talk with fsx you need to activate the related sources inside FSX multiplay.
HOTAS= brand name of joystick and Controller
PTT= press to talk
You can activate the FSX ATC with a qoute key on your keyboard
This is part wrong and 100% confusing.
ATC is not automated. Ground won't reach out to you and tell you where to taxi or what RWY to launch from. Tower departure won't call you to give you permission to take off and approach won't tell you what RWY to land automatically.
You do have to bring up the ATC menu using the ATC key (whatever yours is) to establish comms. Once you do, FSX simulates 'a' method to communicate with ATC -- not over the microphone, but instead by script with ATC responding according to whatever key numeral you press based on your decisions.
So yes, you do speak to ATC. Otherwise, ATC is dormant. Also, if you're on the wrong freq, or the airport isn't controlled, there will be no ATC.
:)
Thanks Janv, will give it a try
I use airnav: http://www.airnav.com/
For example, if I want the let the tower at Atlanta (KATL) know I'm ready to taxi, I'm going to find bunch of freqs depending on what RWY I want to depart from. Not all of the freqs you input via your comm stack will work in FSX, so you're going to have to either find the one that works for you or bring up the ATC menu and make the selection yourself with the ATC menu.
