FSX Service Pack 1

I downloaded the FSX Service Pack 1 from simviation.com today and when I go to install I get a message that says it requires the original fsx sim to be installed. I have the fsx steam version. Will it work with that and if so how do I get it to install?

Any service packs are not needed since they are part of the Steam install along with Accelaration

I was looking for fsx accelaration pack and found this. So if I have the fsx steam version I already have it

I downloaded some dlc from simviation.com and some of the dash boards look like cheap cartoons. I thought that pack might help. Not all of them look like that but some do......

The dash boards do not look like the pics included with the downloads. I thought this might correct that but I guess not.

the downloads don't always look the same since the creator's programing system is not the same as the users
