Water landings
Today I wanted to repeat the Hudson Miracle. I had everything the plane, and stuff and when I was just gonna land in the river, touchdown, resets over the river.I have disabled crash stting and everything on easy aircraft realism. So can anyone tell me how to do it?

I dont think your scenario can be actualized on fsx, in a simulative sense...

You can achieve a water landing with a few low descent rate. You will sink for a bit and then reset.

simulators are not good at simulating water crashes

Well if you've truly re-enacted the actual power loss settings, glide, and actual headings successfully down to the actual landing location, then you've duplicated the event. The touchdown and floating aren't really necessary.

If you go for an addon 'FSPassengers', it does allow certain scenarios such as Water Landings and Belly Landings! Do check it out - I'm also doing a series on it.

Here is an episode of mine where I face sudden landing gear failure!

Belly landings are a simple controlled stall into the water and isn't any different than landing on a runway except gear isn't down and locked. You essentially fly the plane into the water nose high so the mid section where the wing roots are hits first.

This game cannot simulate water landing conditions. The miracle in any water landing with any aircraft of modest size is the fact that the wings did not cause the plane to cartwheel. Cartwheel happens when one wing 'digs' into the water thus creating a ton of drag resulting in a massive torque moment being applied to the aircraft. The aircraft will then cartwheel towards the wing that is down which will cause a failure of the down wing root which will cause a massive fuel leak which will then rip the fueselage apart which will then rip the entire plane apart.

Keeping the wings level throughout the manuever is difficult and often times out of the pilot's control. All it takes is a wing down due to wind or some other factor to make a water landing a disaster. Remember the water has a current and swells and is a powerful moving surface. There are no good options for ditching in the water in windy conditions and few good options in otherwise mild conditions. Small aircraft can handle it very well. Large aircraft do not do very well at all b/c they must come in at much higher airspeeds.

All pilot manuals and training will tell you a water landing in a non float equipped aircraft is usually never a good idea and you should always opt for a nearby strip, highway, road or level grass surface. That being said there are times when you are out of options.
