No ATIS available in game?
When I'm stationary at an airport, I'll search the respective information online. Yet none of the official ATIS frequencies have worked for me yet. After setting the airports ATIS frequency, the radio remains silent. What's it I'm doing wrong here please?

If you are looking for Real Weater, that has been off for quite some time in FSX:SE. I'm guessing MS stopped it and Steam has a Weather bundle to replace it.

Thank you for your reply. I'm not sure if real weather or not - I'm trying to get any ATIS information from the radio. Do I need an addon to do so?

All I know is that Real Weather is off in FSX. I don't see why that wouldn't also affect ATIS.

I have not tried the bundle yet since I really have not been able to find a lot of time to Fly in the Sim.

Open the ATC window and select TUNE ATIS.
It won't be real world weather, though.

AS 2016 ftw

The Weather bundle is a good choice whice includes Active Sky Next and Rex Texture Direct

Thank you both for your reply. So ATC is where it's hidden, nice. I'll check out the weather bundle too, assuming it's paid dlc.

it's this Steam bundle, you don't pay for FSX again but still get the bundle discount on the real weather and texture add ons.

There are newer versions of Active Sky and REX available but not on Steam. So that'll be Active Sky 2016 and REX Sky Force. AS16 is a fairly minor update over ASN and the newer REX has only sky textures, so not the extra runway, water textures that you get with REX4. I think the newer versions are about $30-35 each too.
