Real World Weather

So the beta is broken as hell. It runs, but it's broken a couple of my planes, so I'm back to the regular game.
The only reason I used it at all was for the real world weather. Does anybody know of any way to fix the real world weather without the beta, or of a mod that does?
I'm not looking too spend any money, and I'm hesitant to go for a weather overhaul due to increased graphical demand (my computer is not that great).

Thats the one I use, simple to install, framrate wise will take a small hit (No more than 10% in my experience in a fairly old laptop) Hamburg airport Ill get 20-25fps on the ground in rain, Munich 15fps average with some drops to 10-But i do have all World Of Ai packages and AI setting to 100. I cant say for sure what fps you will get without knowing your specs and settings but unless you have a worse system than mine your FPS will be fine.

(Side note when you download and install FSUIPC you dont need to buy it, just click "Cancel" once it asks you for registration key and it will install the free variant, after you have completed all steps restart your PC and then it will work in FS)

I second aaronbrall's suggestion - FSXWX is the one to get for a free weather add-on (as you requested free in your post, MV). I personally use AS16. It won't increase your computer's demands any more than the default real-time weather. Weather add-ons just tells the sim what clouds and weathers to use and where.

Go back to Library-->Microsoft FSX:SE (right click-->Properties)-->Beta-->NONE.

I also use and recommend FSXWX. The only problem I've ever had was when a new version came out (1.6.3) and the old ones stopped fetching the real-world data - only took me a few seconds to sort out. It works with no issues and no loss of frame-rate
