FSX Steam Edition: Boeing 747™-200/300 Take off issue
I just purchased the above Aircraft from Steam and love it.
Problem is that this thing does not take off even at the end of runway and on full speed.
It takes off only after reaching some 230 knots and that too after running through houses and trees.
I don"t know what the issue is but am aware that it is heavy Aircraft.
Can anyone guide me step by step helping me to take off this Aircraft from runway itself ?

Have you ever taken off in a large aircraft like this before? If not, you might want to check out the tutorial information in the Learning Center

Sensible.
Flaps level ?
I did not understand fuel part.

A full load of fuel will weigh down the aircraft and make the needed takeoff distance greater.

Flaps increase the lift and the drag or vice versa.

[F1] through to [F4] changes flap positions. [F4] gives the greatest lift for takeoff and reduces the length of runway needed.

You have to set your elevator trim to 4 or 5 degrees for lift as well as flaps. Check on pedestal.

Does it have a checklist? It will tell you how to set it up for take off. Also are you taking off into the wind? Taking off with a tailwind will drasticly increase your take off distance.

All aircraft have a maximum take off weight (MTOW) This is calculated by wing area and wing loading. Exceeding this weight will seriously impeed your take off performance. Do the following calculation: Empty weight + Passenger and cargo weight + Fuel weight = Total weight. Does this exceed MTOW? If so, empty out passengers, cargo and/or fuel until you are under or equal MTOW.

You could be experiencing a weight and balance issue, are you nose heavy and out of limits? You can check this in FSX-SE.

Also check your trim, ensure it is in the neutral position for T/Off

Go back to Free Flight and find a Microsoft 747 and start it anywhere you like because you are not going to use it anyway.

The purpose is for you to press SHIFT + F10 to open the Kneeboard, the Pilot's reference guide, which gives all of the speeds, flap positions, both for take off and landing.

If your 747-200/300 has such information and a kneeboard so much the better.

Set your autobrakes to 3 after you take off and arm the air brake/spoilers by pressing SHIFT + /

The Maximum Take Off Weight, MTOW, or Maximum Take Off Mass, MTOM is vitally important both for takeoff and fuel use on long haul journeys. More so if the aircraft encounters a strong head wind.

I experienced a near fatal crash when the DC 10 from LA to Heathrow ran out of fuel just as it reached the holding pattern stack for landing, at 30,000 ft. What seemed like three minutes later we were on the runway. Some passengers were bleeding from the ears and nose due to the rapid decompression. The stewardess was as white as a ghost and could not speak at all.

Google Wikipedia for more information and a list of airliners by MTOW, MGTOW or MTOM

General Preparation Notes for Takeoff and Landing [Boeing] 12-04-2010

First off press SHIFT + F10 , check speeds and flap settings and write them down.

1. Make flight plan.
2. Click on Fly now!
3. Set center panel NAV/GPS switch to GPS
4. Set course heading from GPS
5. Set speed to 240 KIAS
6. Set altitude to 2,000 ft
7. Set flaps 5 by pressing F7 five times. [Check dial gauge under altitude setting.]
8. With the brakes on advance throttle to 40% N1 and allow engines to settle.
9. Advance throttle to full power but not into the red.
10. Release brakes and take off (rotate) at 156 KIAS
11. Raise nose to 10° and start climbing to 2000ft
12. Raise the gear
13. At 240 KIAS raise flaps by pressing F5
14. Turn onto course displayed on the GPS
15. Autothrottle switch to ON [A/T]
16. Autopilot to ON [CMD A]
17. F/D switch to ON
18. Speed hold to ON
19. Altitude switch ON [ALT HLD]
20. Nav hold switch ON [VOR LOC]
21. The heading selector switch - MUST - remain - OFF [HDG SEL]
22. Set altitude to desired height.
23. Increase speed to 320 KIAS about 50-66% N1
24. Arm spoilers by pressing SHIFT + /
25. Set autobrakes to 3 only when you are off the ground in preparation for eventual landing.

This reminds me of some nasty accidents were pilots forgot to extend the flaps. Heavy airoplanes will not lift off without the flaps extended. They are used only for take off and landing the idea is to keep the aircraft in the air at low air speeds. The 747 for take off is flaps 10 (f7) Lift off at 140 Knots. I have the PMDG 747 on steam it took loads of practice to start with but great fun when you get the hang of it. Specially programming the FMC. Hope this helps. Have fun.
