Yeah people seem satisfied. I think I need to tinker more, its not running well when I enable it and I believe it should. Might need to move fsx over to my ssd.
There are quite a number of UTube vids explaining how to setup the NVidia Inspector.
Great guide with links. I have further tweaked it to suit my hardware/tastes but the files make a huge difference.
Example of the above video in use on my FSX;SE
I notice Ryzen 5 is your processor, how do you find its performance with regards to FSX-SE ?
Good frame rates? and textue loading/processing speeds?
Thanks :)
Yeah, I got lucky with my AMD's. The two I've owned seemed to be the good ones for FSX and FS2004 as I know they're infamous for issues not just with FS but other games as well. I had one in my laptop which ran great and then I finally splurged and got a custom build recently and the guy at Canada Computers talked me into it. It's been running FSX silky smooth since day one and has been very stable. Though with NVIDIA Inspector in the mix and the setup that was recommended I get better than Direct X can offer with drastically less pixelation.
Important thing is to find what works best for you in the end so I'm glad to hear it worked for you :)
