You only end up spending money for more unreal scenery and the improvements are barely noticeable.
To prove as to just how bad the scenery is take a Maule or Cessna and land on a freeway, then taxi downtown and have a good look around.
BTW If you ever get around to using the big Augusta EH 101 helicopter, there is no way that anyone lands one of these machines on a flimsy rooftop helipad which is four times too small.
They are only designed to take the weight of lighter helicopters.

Don't use Freemesh or ORBX as the latter is just money thrown away.
Do yourself a BIG favor and make a drive image of your FSX installation before you install FS Earthtiles then if anything does go wrong you can restore very quickly.
