The BEST Steam Controller Config there is for Microsoft FSX: Steam Edition.. KBSTUDIOS
If your having trouble setting up your steam controller or just dont want to.., you need my STEAM CONTROLLER SETUP CONFIG. Here. steam://controllerconfig/314160/1486129081 This setup is very close to the xbox config with a few differences. The palm button on the left toggles the controller gyro for tilt control of the airplane, Right is brakes. Also the LB button now takes a Steam screenshot instead of the voice control. Everything else is the same.

My thoughts exactly.

If you are going to fly aircraft you should be using a H.O.T.A.S.

No question, and no argument.

Using an X-box controller, etc. is purely for child play.

Best Buy: Thrustmaster T16000M Joystick and (separate) TWCS Throttle.

I can outfly anyone using kiddies controllers.

Not a boast, just a fact.

NB Using a joystick alone is NOT sufficient.

Controllers are for X-Box and Playstation, NOT for FSX

you do not need to put out tons of money on a hotas. I fly just as good if not better with my logitech 3d pro than I did with my saitek x52. It really has nothing to do with the type of joystick, but more of the skill of the pilot.

Very true. I got along just fine with my Logitech 3D pro, but I do prefer my current Saitek X52 pro because of the seperate throttle control.

I'd use my x52 more if I had more room. They just take up so much space. There's desk clamps that I could buy but I really don't know if I'd use em considering I just lay in bed and play most of time anyway lol

I understand, and everyone has their own needs and preferences. I have my PC and associated hardware setup on two good sized desks in my "man cave", the Saitek throttle sits just to the left of my keyboard and has rubber feet so it stays put very well. The stick I have bolted down to a small metal stool, so it occupies no desk space.

Without tax 106.61 EURO = US$ 121.24 (Just add your local tax.)

What is expensive about $121.24 ?

As long as you are happy with it that's all that matters.

I paid about $175 here in the US for my X52 pro, everything computer hardware wise seems pricier in europe, so I would imagine it would be well over $200 there.
