Lens Flare and Bloom

I know what they typically do but how much impact to they have on performance here? I use the REX textures so not sure if they affect, also ORBX scenery.

Lens Flare and Bloom are effects that use video processing resources turning them off frees those processes so the simulator can use them for renduring scenery faster,

I have a decent gfx card but not sure if these utilizes it at all.

In either case they do not look "real."

I thought as much :). I decided to turn both off to improve the performance a bit now that I got all that fancy orbx stuff :)

I always hated Lens Flares. They simulat the view from looking through a camera lens. I prefer the view of just being there.
