Any GTN 750-650 users
Does anyone know how to sync both unit (U1 and U2) to display the same Flight Plan ?
Or even the ability for U2 to load the flight plan ?

For the life of me I just can't find any info on this.

Never tried to use two?

I was not aware it was possible to connect two different video cards. I thought they both had to be the same.

Don't you have to configure one as a 725 or 625?

Very interesting. So is the GTN 650 the small unit?

It looks like they should both work together, based of the pictures anyway.

Good luck getting them synced. I prefer the Garmin G1000 but those do look very nice.

You can have one or the other or both or 2 of each and the 650 is the small unit.

I never actualy bought into them because they seemed a might pricy given each was sold separately, but now they have the "complete" package which provides both units, plus they've been updated for P3D v4 and work equally well in FSX-SE.

TAWS is included so there's plenty of warnings if that mountain or the ground is coming up too fast.

The package also comes with the Garmin GTN750 Trainer (~2.8 GB separate download) and is what the GPS's leverage for their functionality, now if only the units played music ;-)

Plus they integrate directly into the VC with many planes, just like in the pics below. Alternatively there is a small hotspot placed on the screen to open it for planes without direct integration, and it can be undocked.

If you'd like a bit of an upgrade to the default GPS this file below will add terrain shadows and traffic.

TAWS in action and besides the screen warnings there is a warning voice to pull up or terrain ahead. Should also mention they work with/as touch screens.

Let's not forget that they include charts for US and Canada. The website says US only but I've been at several even smaller airport in Canada and they have it.

Great pic :-)

Hows the frame rate with the GTNs undocked?

Thanks for the heads up on this upgrade to the default GPS. I dowloaded and installed it (after making a backup of course) and it works perfectly in both FSX SE and P3D v4.2

I don't have much use for the GTN 750 because as you noted it is rather pricey ($65 for the "complete" package) and I don't fly general aviation aircraft very often anyway.

I'd be curious to know what you're settings and slider positions are just for comparison purposes to my own hardware setup and settings.

The other thing is that I'm learning to fly the procedures and just to get the Canadian Air charts in pdf for ex. it would be $112 either that or get a subs somewhere or if your lucky get outdated charts.

If you like to fly airways and procedures the charts are "nearly" a must have.
