MSFX Steam plane selection is limited after re install
Initially Steam was installed when I purchased my computer and had an almost unlimited selection of planes on it and upon uninstalling and re installing due ti other porblems that selection is significantly reduced.

Does that imply that I did not get a good install?

Is there a way to get all the planes back without doing another install?

Thanks

Which aircraft are missing? You can verify you game files by going into Steam and at the menu top of the screen, select Library, then Games. On the left side of the screen you'll see Microsoft Flight Simulator listed. Right click on that and select Properties. You'll see a series of tabs; select Local Files, then click on Verify Integrity of Game Files.

The process can take several minutes; it's making sure that all of the files in your installation are correct and functional...if not, they'll be replaced with fresh files. Once the process is completed you can either reboot your computer, or try running FSX:SE again. If all went well, all of your default aircraft should be listed and available for your use. :steamhappy:

Happy Flying!

Not sure how it could get changed on a reinstall, but FSX is FSX afterall.

Check your fsx.cfg file for the "ShowAllACPaintSchemes=" entry and make sure it's set to =1 and not =0

Barring that, I'm not sure what it could be.

If someone else installed FSX:SE for you, is there a chance that person may have added additional aircraft?
