Best payware major Airports
I have bought some of the UK2000 and got one from Orbx but what about Germany, France and USA. Are there any multi packages with several Airports? Maybe not the same quality as some of the extreme offerings but still good upgrades.

Sorry, posted it here because even freeware are good but I have not found much modern on AVSIM or FS.
I have found alot of good and reasonably up to date in the Avsim library. I have used scenery by Ray Smith with good results. I also have some good payware but mostly good quality freeware

My personal favorite payware airport is Taxi2Gate's KMCO Orlando International.

It's damn near perfect. It is a huge airrport with 4 terminal buildings connected with moving trains. T2G did a wonderful job of making it feel like Florida. The sandy / grassy areas along the taxiways are dead on with the look. It also does very well with the FPS. Better than many of the FSX default larger airports.

Taxiing before TO or after landing can easily take 15-20 minutes sometimes. Like I said, the airport is huge. I often look up my arrival gate to see which terminal it is in, and I request a different runway so I don;t have to taxi that far. FSX won't really change it, but will tell you to "sidestep" the current assignment, so you stay on the ILS for the original runway and then scoot over to land on the other as soon as you can. It can be tricky with low clouds.

You might try adjusting the top realisim slide, in realism settings, I would recomend around 25% or lower to start that's how I ran the mission. Realism settings are very different for Helos so starting with low setting gives you a chance to learn.

I have found the follow car in GSX to be a wonderful little feature. I hated those yellow lines but they were had to do without in big airports. This car makes it easier to keep a realistic taxi pace too.

Did you check out some of the free UK2000 airports? They do a payware one, a demo and (usually) a free version. Some are better than others but Edinburgh, Jersey, Heathrow and some of the others are well worth keeping.

There's a Sim Giants Gran Canaria freeware out there too that's pretty good, the Sim Giants web site seems to be no more but the airport is on Rikooo
