Multiple monitor issue:
I got 2 screens, one for game and another one for obs.

Once i go fullscreen, I get on my game screen the game but my other screen (obs)
turns black. Any ideas how to fix it.

Press Shift + 1 and slide the instruments over to the other screen...

If you are in full screen you should not need to undock it.

I don't have two screens anymore so I'm not sure about this anymore, but, I believe you have to Run FSX in Windowed Mode (with the menu bar hidden if you don't want it to show). This is so that the OBS window (or any other window) remains movable to the other monitor?
FSX will only support multiple monitors while in the windowed mode. I've used 2 monitors for years and used full screen and hide menu as my default view. JJ FSX has stated why it's best

Not so...

I use two monitors on both computers and both run in full screen mode. It is not even necessary to undock a panel to move it to the second screen.

I go to tail view then press Shift+1 to bring up the instrument panel, make all the settings, and move the instrument panel over to the second screen using the pointer.

This leaves the bottom half of the screen blank, so I cycle through the views back to tail view to get a proper picture.

When I move the panel it shows a blank rectangle with a thin white frame which snaps into place, full screen, on the second screen.

It is the same procedure with the GPS and Radio Stack, etc.

This also works for my nine legacy Concordes.

The above comments are probably the best, but I'll just add my solution to play on 3 monitors just in case everything else fails (nothing is eternal under Windows lol). For some reason fullscreen wasn't working for me on windows 10, maybe I'll try again later.

I use windowed mode, set to borderless fullscreen with external software such as:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/388080/Borderless_Gaming/
(I'm sure there are plenty of free or even open source alternatives)
And then move any undocked views from the main window.
One of the advantages is that you can use any non-fsx windows seamlessly.

Yes Erazer that's possible if all you want is rearranging your pop-up windows away from your main cockpit which I have done. But for some using the pop-ups can diminish the realism of flying since I fly from the 3d cockpit all the gauges are in their proper positions and using full screen uses more resources. So I fly windowed mode menu hidden and run other related programs on the 2nd monitor such as moving map and my video creation program like OBS.

I also have the border-less program which didn't really work for my setup.

Don't bother with FSX full screen. Just hit Alt+Enter to go to windowed mode. It is just as good in windowed mode. You will be able to easily use OBS and move undocked instrument windows to the other monitor. Like the posters above said you can just hide the menu bar to improve the immersion factor for your videos.

I found that the freeware Borderless Gaming program was practically useless and caused FSX to crash every time the flight was ended.

JJ you can still find second hand monitors at a reasonable price.

I took a look at 2deHands in Belgium for a friend who wants larger screens for some of his students who use laptops.

Three 2017 27" Samsung monitors for less than half price at €120 each or €300 for all three.
