Any virtual right seat passengers?
Are there any add-ons that would give you a virtual passenger or copilot to occupy the right seat? On some of these longer flights it might be comforting to feel like there's someone with me to "talk at". Not looking for one to share the workload, just company. lol

I do believe there is a Co-Pilot add-on but, if I remember correctly, the Co-Pilot did take some of the work load. I do not know of any add-ons that just adds passengers to sit next to you, even in smaller GA Aircraft.

I have friends who have installed payware aircraft that has a virtual co-pilot who takes some of the navigation and autopilot controls. I believe those are installed into those aircraft only though.

FSPassengers has multiple co-pilot/crew packs that interact with you throughout the flight. (But doesnt' share the workload, co-pilot does call out V1 V2, transitions etc. and talks with you at times during the flight). It comes with four or five different crew packs and you can download more, including a RedNeck Co-Pilot pack that says some pretty hilarious stuff during flight. The crew and passengers react to turbulence, and crashes. Ahhhhhh! Stewardesses enter the cockpit and talk with you, serve you coffee and meals etc.

The Demo version is fully functional But you can only start from San Francisco or Oakland Airports. Purchase it and you can start from anywhere. Its a goal oriented add-on with several options, you can manage your own airline starting from scratch with little money and if you do that mode you have to earn your way to purchasing larger aircraft. But you can start one with enough money to start with a jet too. You have to manage seat belts, serve drinks and food and movies and it rates your flights, gives you feedback and penalizes you for mistakes.

The one that gspectre is referring to is called "Flight Simulator First Officer", you can specify which items you want it to share workload or just interact w/you or not. Version 2.3 is available here, (go to the bottom of the screen for this version, earlier versions are at the top.

I just kind of want to look over and "see somebody" in the right seat. When I'm spending 2-4 hours in a flight with my Beech 59, I have to tolerate the flight-following ATC's to "feel like" there's somebody out around. I don't really want to add the addition work of dealing with a co-pilot's needs and questions. I recently saw an ultralight that had a rear seat passenger just sitting there. But rear-seaters in a Beech 59 or the like wouldn't be visible from the pilot seat.
