Real weather

Hi, since a few little time ago, why we can"t have now real weather under FSX SE ??? When I want it, I have always an error message about it now. I precise it it occurs too when I have my FSX SE totally nude and free of weather D.L.C or sometging like that too. So Why ?? Somebody have the same problem please or not....??

Hooo good, so if I undesrand it very well now FSX-SE is totaly knocked out of real weather....It is really funny ha ha ha....Thank you so much Dovetails Games ha ha ha.......

It wasn't Dovetail, it was Jeppesen (who provided the weather) and Microsoft. Jeppesen weather was pretty bad anyway and I was using Active Sky long before Jeppesen weather quit.

You can find both freeware and payware weather programs for FSX. Try Google first, FSX WEATHER is a good possible search term.

Or, instead of trying to blame someone for not giving you what you want, when you want it, you can look at it as being in a great position to get the type of real weather you want since there are several Weather Engines to choose from. Some free, some not.

Besides, Jeppesen weather sucked. They did you a favor by dropping it. I don't say that about many things.

Active Sly seems to be a very beautifuk engine: but it is not a freeware. But very beautiful engine. I certainly see iit later when I have a ffew money for it ha ha, thank you so much for this advice.

Active Sky has a lot of good features. The thing that first attracted me was the weather map. You can see what the weather is doing all along your flight path and anywhere else you care to look. There is also a flight planner which will give you additional information about weather along your route. If you tune 122.0 on your radio it will give you the weather at the closest weather station, and if you have a flight plan loaded in Active Sky tuning 122.02 will give the weather at the destination. I haven't used it but 122.05 gives you a weather briefing for your entire route.

Not sure what you are referring to but FSX (Microsoft Flight Sim 10) came out in 2006. You must be referring to an older version:

Yes Fs98, 2000, 2002, 2010 or FSX it is exactly the same thing because all are by Microsoft anf I used it, the first time in 1998 I remenber it, and if you want too I have always the install cd in my house. But you were certainly not born I think so do You don't understand what I told you. But it was the first version and it was exactly the same product by Microsoft. Not exacltly the same product, for sure we are not idiots because 98 is a very older vercion. Use it one day the first version and I think you can understand what I told you about it. But my question was very legitimate because I had never see real weaher isn't inckude in the program.

No I'm not sure and I don't know. Older people never speak in public like it ha ha ha.......It is the first time I ask something here but wiith this kind of guy I can now remenber it. And it is exactly why when I have a problem with FSX I never ask something here ha ha.......

It is a DLC 747.200 or 300 by CLS and you can find it in the steam market. Or it is the 747.400 by FSX.
