How to have Virtual Cockpit ?

Hey guys. Sorry for asking but I feel completly lost in this game.
I saw online that we can have a Virtual Cockpit instead of the regular 2D cockpit.
When I'm in game I push the shortcuts I find but nothing happened.

I aldo download and install iFly 747-400 and I launch the VC version but still cannot find how to use the VR.
What I am doing wrong ?

The Vitrual cockpit is not a VR cockpit (just to be clear) .... it would be better described as 3D cockpit. The control to switch between 2D and 3D cockpit is F9 and F10 ..... does this not work?

Ok Thanks not sure 'bout the difference here. I tried those two keys but didnt work. Is there any plane included you know it works ?

The default Cessna 1-72 ... pressing F9 and F10 should switch between the two cockpit modes. You can also switch within the view menu in windowed mode whilst in the aircraft.

Thanks; I just tried with this plane and unfortunatly nothing happened. Do you have any idea on how to solve this issue ?

Turn off the DX10 setting in FSX if selected. .... and just the usual advice like verifying game files within Steam, and checking for a new driver for your graphic card.
