FSX:Steam Edition user since mid-January 2015
6155 logged FSX:SE flight hours and counting.
Wow, and this wonderful review from someone that's only tried it for 12.3 hours. You must really now everything about it.
For something new is Flight Sim, you should check out "Take Off", it just showed up in steam and I think it's more your style and it's NEW.
Yes, FSX is about 11 years old (not 50), and for it's age, it is still worth it. The best part is, if there is ANYTHING about it that you would like to improve, there's almost an unlimited anount of Freeware as wellas payway (away from Steam).
The best part is, there are just as many Simmers more than willing to actually help you with unlimited amount of topics, both here and away from Steam. For that kind of free support, you could never put a price on.
BUT, if you are interested in helping out with an Early Access title, while still being able to fly, there is Flight Sim World, and it to comes with the same support from Simmers as you would get with FSX.
