Spitfire Problem
I start a flight and the spitfires engine is already smoking when just rezzed. Then the smoke goes away and after 2-3 mins of flight the engine gets on fire and fails. Also when trying to take off it steer strongly tot he left. What's wrong?

Hana, did your Spitfire come with an operator's handbook or instructions? It sounds like there's something amiss in your startup sequence--maybe fuel settings, engine rpm settings, etc. If the engine is already running when you begin your flight maybe you could try a "cold and dark" startup and go through the sequence step-by-step.

As far as the left-turning tendency, that is usually caused by engine torque and you must counter that force with carefully applied opposite rudder, though I was sure that Spitfires tended to torque to the right when throttling up.

I hope that you get this sorted out.

Happy flying,

Opps seems I have confused the Spitfire with the P51 Mustang (they look the same kinda lol) and it came with the standard Steam edition. Well checking startup for it. thx
