Yes, indeed. A good friend of mine uses one for his FSX flying and has been for many years. I've flown on his PC using it and I quite like it.

Others may chime in and say that you need this or that to make FSX:SE better, but my friend is a former pilot and it's good enough for him. :steamhappy:

Does it have an axis to manage the rudder, because the only problem i am facing using the mouse yoke is that i cant control the rudder precisely but it increments in abrupt steps which is quite annoying.

If it has an seprate axis for rudder then i am so very buying it XD.

There is indeed a Z-Axis on the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. I know this because I've been using one for years in may Sims, especially in FSX.

That right handed joystick has:
Twist stick for rudder
Trigger button
Thumb button on left side of stick
Hat switch on top
Four buttons on both sides and near side of hat switch
Paddle style throttle on base (near side - no reverser or afterburner detents)
Four more buttons on base to the left of the stick

All devices on the stick itself are arranged for operation with the user's right thumb or index finger. The devices on the base are arranged for use with the left hand.

USB interface (powered by the port)

Can the hat switch be used for panning views?
And is there anyway to customize the throttle control to add reverser?

Same here. No clue about reversing.

I'm not aware of a way to activate reverse thrust in FSXSE using JUST the throttle axis, but you could assign one of the buttons to the reverser function. That would be particularly useful if your keyboard "features" system keys (volume, mute, display switch, media playback etc) along the top and you need to hold a "fn" key for the f1-f12 functions.

I used this joystick for almost 10 years. Got a second on when the first one died. F2 (start reverse), and F1 (stop reverse) are the keys. Just map them to buttons.

F2 reverse and F1 to stop it. However, I used one for many years before upgrading. Very reliable product. Went through only 3 in about 8 years. (the last one was actually my first one I bought, the previous two broke down)
