What does 'NULL' do in settings and controls???
new to the game---trying to adjust controls
do not understand the 'NULL' function

I think that functions imply does nothing. That is usually what null means in computer software setup.

The null zone is a part of the axis where controller movement is ignored. So raising the slider means you have to move the axis farther away from centre or zero before the sim will detect that it's moved at all.

Full right on sensitivity on yokes/sticks and couple of notches in Null settings is the best set-up. That said Null settings could depend on the quality of your controller.
