Need FSX : Steam Edition User Manual
While I am a newbie to the Steam Community, I am not that new to Microsoft Flight Simulaion X. I owned it several years ago, and loved flying it. But I developed health problems several years ago, and had to move out of my home, I never was that great remembering the keystroke commands. and I bought a yoke to use with the simulation. Then, I had to move out of state. My son packed up my home computer office, but did not include the software and manuals. I think the Steam Edition is much superior to the Microsof edition, but now I need a User's Manual to refresh my memory for keyboard commands. Can anyone point me in th iht direction? Thanks in advance.

The official manuals are located in the Manual directory within FSX (...Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\Manuals). But they are the Microsoft manuals, which aren't very useful.

To compensate, I created an Excel spreadsheet and pdf that contains the Keyboard Mappings. It's here on my Google Drive:

There is also a prettier FSX:Box version at Mutleyshangar (note that F12 is now Steam's "Screenshot" and Shift-F12 is "Top-Down View":

FSX Steam is the same as FSX box. Both have a very indepth complete Learning Center type manual. There are many ways to access the FSX Learning Center.

.......Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\FSWeb\Learning Center

another way to see and print the key commands

select the Icon on the plane 2D panel for the Kneeboard which will give you a complete list of keyboard assignments

Any time you are flyiing select the help menu and that will open the Learning Center.

There is a listing in the Help Menu to show all keyboard assignments

I know this is an old post, but of all the FSX resources that used to be available, yours is one of the few that are actually STILL available, as most links I have been finding lately result in a 404 Error. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places..

Thanks for creating these resources, and thanks for still hosting them and making them available to sim buffs such as myself. I downloaded and saved the keyboard shortcuts one. Very nice.
