where my sim is installed on my E: drive
there are actually (4) simconnects in FSX:SE
E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FSX\SDK\Core Utilities Kit\SimConnect SDK\LegacyInterfaces
3 of them are in the legacyinterfaces directory in each of the following directories
FSX-RTM
FSX-SP1
FSX-XPACK
the 4th one is located up a level in the LIB directory
Radio stacks for most planes are a popup. The most common key to get the radio stack to show in most default planes is Shift+2.
You can also select the Views----> Instrument panel to get the radio stack.
Thank you both for your replies.
I've located the files, but am not sure what to do with them next.
As for the guages..I've just checked the Cessna 172SP again and more of them are missing! You can see through and outside of the cockpit. As for the radio stacks..They appear as a blank black area and are like this in either cockpit view, or if selected as a pop up.
Would appreciate your thoughts.
Many thanks
