Windows 10 and fsx crash FIX
A lot of people are having trouble with running fsx on Windows 10.
I thought I would tell u some things that can fix this:
1.try running as Admin.
2.try the game cache thing from steam.
3.try renaming ur Logbook.BIN so fsx can create a new one.
4.try renaming ur fsx.cfg file so fsx can create a fresh one.
5.switch off ur internet then try running fsx in offline mode.
6.try reinstalling fsx.
7.if u have 2 pcs, download fsx on the other one.
8.CONTACT DOVETAIL GAMES!!!!!!!!
Note: try this fixes ONE AT A TIME!

I am running Windows 10 and FSX SE, it worked fine before I updated from Windows 8. I purchased PMDG 777 & 737 NGX, Aerosoft A318, A319, A320 & A321 (Which cost a lot of money!) I managed to fly the PMDG 777 for 30 minutes then FSX Crashed (Which is sometimes usual), I then tried later that day to continue my flight but after starting a flight in ANY aircraft after 8 or so seconds later the game freezes and it’s hard to close. I followed all your steps with no luck until I reinstalled FSX SE, now the game won't even start! It just comes up with the generic 'Not responding' message.

Can anyone help? It seems like a waste of money now!!

Hello. When I tryed to run MFSX is image-"Microsoft Flight Simulator X" and its freezing. i tryed any way that u wrote here! HELP! P.S Windows 8.1

If u have tryed everything I have said, then try contacting dovetail. If they dont respond then create a new thread in steam and other people will try and help u P.S try this:go into ur root folder of fsx:steam,steamapps,common,FSX.Right click on the fsx.exe file and click on the troubleshoot Compatabilty. In there click on the compatabilty tab and UNCHECK "Use in compatabilty mode" and CHECK "Run as Admin".
