No Battery Drain
I hope this hasnt been asked before, I haven't been able to find any info on my issue, which is that the batteries in the planes are not depleting. I have found many articles about the batteries depleting too quickly in FSX, but mine don't seem to be depleting at all! I'll kill the engines and turn on all of the electronics and the voltage never budges below the max battery voltage limit.. Any thoughts? I have checked the configuration file and the "electricity always available" variable is not in it. Thanks!

This is a complete guess on my part, but could this have something to do with the 'Realism Settings' inside FSX?

It depends on which aircraft. Many do not model things very well at all. If you leave an A2A aircraft with the eleecrics on you will have a flat batery very quickly when you come to try to fly i.

Good Suggestion @MadAir, I checked my realism settings and didn't see anything relating to the battery. I do have 'Unlimited Fuel' turned off so that doesn't seem to be in any way related.

@harrry, are any of the stock planes A2A? I'm not really familiar with the term, and I haven't been able to get any of my planes to show any battery depletion. I'd like to see it once just to know that I don't have my settings configured wrong or something.

Thanks guys!

No A2A manafacture their own planes. Probably about the best GA aircraft for FSX. The default planes generally are not good examples of what a plane can be. They are things to get you started more than anyhing else..
