My planes turn extremely slow. What might be wrong?
Hi

Out of nowhere my planes started turning extremely slow and I can't find the source for this. If I stand on the ground and give max left or right on my X55 I'll see the ailerons rise and drop at once. But when I'm in the air a regular 737 become as responsive as the death star. Sure it turn, but it's sloooow. It's the same thing in all planes but it's more noticable in the bigger ones. It's more or less imposible to land a plane in this condition.

I've tested another joystick as well as the mouse yoke and it's the same problem there so I think we can rule out my input devices as the problem. I run Windows 7 on this machine.

Here is a video displaying how slow it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6sl7sTvm2w

What can I do to fix this?

"FSX has an wing-leveler that is activated when the AP is turned on, use ctrl+v to toggle on and off."

I'd be interested to learn if that was the answer or something else? Thanks, and good luck.
AP on or off doesn't matter. This behavior is present even if I start FSX for a first flight, load a plane and take off at once.

For the record, this was an handling error by me. As i hoped. The video show an 737 but I mainly fly the Airbus A320-family. The mistake I did was to leave the flight control computers running. I disabled them and now the plane is as it should again.

I'm having the same issue. If you are still on steam 5 years later do you happen to remember what key on the keyboard you need to press to disable the flight computers?

In the Airbus A321's overhead panel, turn off ELAC 1, SEC 1, and FAC 1 under FLT CTL, all on the left (captain) side. It will cause the controls to more resemble Boeing aircraft. Note that you will need to use the manual trim since it is disabled when the three fly-by-wire buttons are enabled.
