Rewards not working?
I did a search and didn't find anything. :(

I'm just wondering....I haven't been able to earn a reward yet. I read an article somewhere about earning some of the easier rewards. One was to fly the second tutorial and fly through all of the targets. I went through all five and also all seven bonus ones but didn't get a reward. (I did this several times to make sure I got everything.)

It's not a big deal to me, and the rest of the simulator seems to be working great. I'm really enjoying it. But am I missing something, or do the rewards not work in the Steam Edition? Thanks for any help...

Mine work, try the Sitka Approch, you get a post card reward for that one, they are in the Pilot Records menu.

My rewards seem to be working still; I just got a 1000-hour multi-engine badge the other day.

I purchased the Air Alaska mission DLC (my first DLC purchase) and subsequently all my rewards disappeared from the pilot records page. Any mission I attempt no longer gives rewards.

I uninstalled the DLC and the rewards immediately reappeared. I'm not sure if the problem is specific too this mission pack or any DLC.

Thanks for the responses, folks. And Steve - you're right! After reading your post, I recalled that in my search there were a few people who commented that they lost their rewards after installing DLC (like you). I bought a DLC (Early Years of Flight) almost as soon as I bought FSX SE. I didn't think the problem of losing reward applied to me since I never saw that I earned any to begin with.

Well, I decided to uninstall the DLC - pretty easy; just unkched the DLC box and Steam took them out in about 2 seconds (literally). Then I loaded MSX, confirmed that the DLC was gone, went to the Pilot Records tab and guess what? I had eleven rewards! Darn, I guess I'm better than I thought!

I'll put in a ticket about this problem. My guess is it's been around since the Steam Edition came out and if it isn't fixed yet, it's probably a low priority. In any event, there will be a record of it.

And now that most of the DLC is on sale, I 'm going to be getting a few more...I may never see my rewards again! LOL!

Same happens here, after installing Orbx Friday Harbour, all my rewards are gone. Uninstall it and all reappear on the next start.

I submitted a ticket...We'll see if it gets fixed. For all I know, this bug dates back to pre-Steam days...

It seems that this bug is triggered by the DLC changes made for steam edition. I imagine it was introduced by DTG as this never happened when loading additional content in the original version of FSX.

i have the same problem...

Hi, I have the same problem. I purchased the Premium Edition, which includes the main program plus 5 addons. After installtion, like others, no rewards. After removing all of the addons, rewards showed up. (Rewards are earned, they are just not listed.) I then tried each addon individually. My conclusion is that the Steam Edition Rewards do not work when running any addons. It does not seem to be any specific addon or publisher. When I want to check on my Rewards, I remove the addons and then check my progress. Like others here, I hope it gets fixed...

My fsx-se rewards have disappeared for some days, and I have no idea of what matters. I have installed some DLCs too.

It is a known bug caused by Steam add-ons for this game. The rewards will be visible again when they are uninstalled (or their folder names changed in the DLC folder). You will still earn rewards even if you can't see them. Right now it is not possible to use Steam add-ons AND see the rewards.

Okay.I prefer my DLCs than seeing my rewards, and for me I choose to ignore them and watting for bug fix. Thank you!

I submitted a ticket to the support team a few weeks ago about this topic and Jack, one of the members of this team told me that it was already fixed but he didn't tell me what to do or how. Maybe we will see the progress in the next upgrade.
