Gain more FPS or to become a more realistic screnery?
I noticed packages for add-on missions, im going to check those out, I like the backcountry ones. Thanks for reading & I appreciate any advice.
I will get back to this tommorow. It is 3:30am right now and I need to go bed.
But up to now, don´t buy anything.

There's a few regions you can download and try, just follow the instructions. Here's a review of Narsarsuaq X
http://mutleyshangar.com/reviews/dai/nx/nx.htm
http://store.steampowered.com/app/379542/
it lets you change lots of the default textures, runways and taxiways but also gives you better clouds, sky and water textures.
I don't use this one myself but the Active Sky weather add on is also very popular and a good weather engine makes a big difference

for backcountry flying this plane is a really nice add on to own (see the reviews!) and you get float, ski and tundra variants
http://store.steampowered.com/app/360080/
I think most of these add ons have been on -50% Steam sale before so you might want to wishlist them and wait for another sale. I had a lot of fun flying the default Maule around Greenland (not many trees there though.... :)
Oh, and accu-feel is really nice Steam add on too, especially if you're flying default planes

I wrote "...don´t buy anything" - this is due to the upcomming new sim from Dovetail. This will have a lot extras from scratch. Such as ORBX.
Sencond point is, if you buy a DLC at Steam-Store it will for ever be stuck to FSX:SE you will never be able to transfer it to the FSX boxed version or (even worth) to Prepar3d from Lookhead.
To increase the grafics use his:
https://www.facebook.com/ALeclercqCreations/?fref=nf
Take the latest beta version from Feb 18th - it is just great!
If you want to explore northern part of Italy (Alps) use this brilliant one:
https://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/6768/fsx-italvfr-trentino-alto-adige-2m-photo-scenery/
(I downloaded that one without paying for the fast-download. I used a download manager)
It is a bit tricky to ad the Trentino scenery to FSX:SE because FSX:SE has a software bug. This bug exist with all free-/third party screnery. Youtube gives a helping hand (I only have a youtube link to a german vid, sorry)
You will find tons of stuff on the flyawaysimulation site.
Also nice is:

(Just sign up to that side for an increase download speed)

If you really want to spend money us the mentioned one from Morag McRae:
REX 4 Texture Direct
It is worth every single penny. But as I said, if you buy it as a DLC it will only work with FSX:SE!

So long for now - if more wanted, let me know
Best regards and
Happy flyin´
