FSX SE won't recognize my Saitek Instruments
I am running Windows 10/64 FSX SE and was forced to "refresh" SE. Now, only my X52 Pro is connected and working. My Multi panal, switch panel, BIP, and FIP, are not recognized. Everything was working perfectly before the refresh, but still no luck after re-installing all drivers and FSX SE plugins. They all show up and work when tested. Usually all I have to do is reload the FSX plugins and everything works, but not this time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Have you tried Spad drivers?
I've never heard of those drivers but will investigate. Thank you for your reply.
I downloaded and installed the SPAD drivers. The Switch Panel and Multi Panel both flashed when it was installed, but they still don't work.
Make sure you are running Spad as an administrator.
I am running as administrator, but still no change. I shouldn't have to use the SPAD drivers anyway. Everything was working perfectly last week without the SPAD drivers. I'm guessing there is is just a misplaced file somewhere and I just have to find it. Thank you once again stemak for your suggestions.
Those Saitek drivers are notoriously bad. See if there is a FS 9/2004 driver interfering. Delete that if you find one in the Saitek folder.
I got really frustrated and am now in the process of re-installing windows. I'm just going to start over and reinstall Steam, FSX SE and all of the Saitek drivers & software. Unfortunately, I'll also have to spend hours reinstalling all of my scenery. But I have flown for so long using my Saitek instruments that it just isn't right flying without them. Drastic measures, but hopefully sucessful. Thank you stemak for taking the time to try and help me out. I very much appreciate that. You are the only onr who did. Again, thank you. I will post another reply to let you know if I was sucessful. Thanks again.

Best Regards,

Bob Williams
Yep hope that works. Before you run FSX go right into that Saitek folder in programme files and delete the FS9 files. I did that with mine - because on some systems this was causing a conflict.

I have the multi and switch panels and I am fortunate that they have worked well with steam (touch wood) and love using them. I tried the radio panel but prefer using the Airtrack app on iPad for that. Airtrack is also a full glass cockpit, so could also replace the multi panel - apart from trim wheel and flaps.

The multi-panel is just about perfect though. I see with Spad next you can programme the trim wheel to turn quicker within the sim, and programme the hardly used 'Rev' button to make the height altitude selection go up in thousands if the button is selected. You can change just about anything with Spad Next on these panels.

Good luck with your epic re-install :-)
Hi !
I found a useful video on youtube that helped to get Saitek Multi and switch panel to operate.
Do not know if this works but the address there is:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-Fr9igMxPQ
He called frogglesim.
BUT I will find nowhere on how I get Saitek instrument panel to work. Can anyone help me with it so would be very grateful.
greetings
