FSX SE Lag Spike While landing

Every time a land at any airport just before the main landing gear touches the ground a lag spike ruins the landings it also happens 1 or 2 times on final approach

Nvidia gtx 1050 2gb gpu
8gb ram
1tb hdd

I would start by disabling the add-ons.

Have you tried landing in an airport in which you HAVE NOT downloaded a mod?

Take the trike lite and try Friday Harbor. i.e. the stock free-flight.
See if it still hiccups as you cross the wire.

Most of your add-ons seem to be the airports.
Why not try to find a generic airport enhancement like REX HD Airports?
That way you'll just have ONE add-on and not 9.

Since the game can only access 4gb of ram, it really is a moot point.

All the more reason to make the move to Prepar3D with its 64-bit architecture. Then the 4GB limitation is indeed, a moot point.

ye that's right, fix a bit of stuttering in FSX by spending $300 on a new GPU and $200 on a new simulator. Maybe he should pick up a flight sim leyboard too? That'll help I'm sure...

But rex airports is not as good as these addons

I fixed the problem what i did was disable the touchdown smoke on fsfx 777

I know that this is quite old, but how would I do this for any aircraft?
