How to setup 3 screens?
Hello,
Here is my problem: I installed FSX:SE on WIN10.
I have 3 screens plugged on my computer:
one from the integrated-GPU VGA's slot
one from the 950 GTX HDMI's slot
one from the same GTX DVI's slot
I can move my mouse from any screens, I did this with the help of windows display settings. It works just fine.

However, when I start FSX, I have the middle screen running the game and side screens go black.

How could I get a 3 screens display ?

If it's not a 3-screens wide view, I'd like a least to have instruments on one of the screen to improve the simulation experience.
Thanks guys for taking time to read this!

Sorry I only ever use two screens. But I do use a progam called borderless gaming, which puts fsx in windowed mode but crops of the edges so it appears like fullscreen. You could try this and then undock some instruments onto the other two screens?

I don't think you can use the motherboard's graphic ports AND the video card's ports at the same time. It has to be one or the other. I have three displays and they are all connected to my GTX 970 - my main display in HDMI and the other two displays in DVI.

Thanks for your replies dtm & BF Bullpup.
@BF Bullpup - What did you do to have the 3 screen display on FSX?

Assuming you can get 3 screens to show up normally in Windows but you see only one screen in FSX: use windowed mode instead of full screen mode. I don't remember off the top of my head how to change that in the settings, but in the sim, when you are in a flight, you can just hit Alt+Enter and the sim will save your setting as windowed mode from now on. You can open other windows or panels in the sim, right-click on its title bar, and undock those windows. You can then drag and drop those windows to the other screens. You may need to use the Windows Display setting to set things up "just right."

Theres this feature on amd cards called eyefinity which turns multiple displays into one display, basically stretching/changing the resolution to scale across all monitors. Is there a similar feature for nvida cards?

Ive run three displays for years. FSX has to be in windows mode. You make a new window, drag it over to one of the displays. Like above poster says, must be video card outputs only I believe. I ran two cards. Actually 4 displays. And really SHOULD be matching cards. Three across the top for cockpit views, one in middle below for panel displays.
Cant help you with the black displays. I can only attest to how I ran my setup. many others ran like this as well. In fact, most professional simpits run like that. They use other computers to run even more video cards. Google some of them. Saw one with 12 monitors in a panorama once. Im sure its on the net.
