Extreme 3d Pro controller no longer working
My Logitech Extreme 3d Pro controller is no longer working in FSX. Im not able to download new software from logitech site. FSX wont recognize it. I can calibrate it outside of FSX but FSX only shows mouse as only option for controller.

How old is it..??

These are decent sticks for the money, but they don't last forever.

FWIW, I never needed a driver for my Xtreme Pro, plug and play....

I used it for the better part of a year, never any issues. It was recognized immediately by FSX SE, and worked perfectly until I swapped it out for a Saitek X52.

Is its connector USB? If so check that your USB ports have not gone to sleep. With FSX running just unplug and replug in the controller (you should hear windows sounds confirming disconnect/reconnect). If it works after that it proves that your USB port had gone to sleep.

Good suggestion.

You can also control USB port behavior in control panel power management settings, but if this is something that has reared it's ugly head just recently, I think it's unlikely to be a power management settings issue.

Ditto. Good suggestion.

Check the power management on your USB ports where it say allow computer to turn this USB off to save power.

The power savings are minimal and this is really aimed at laptops running on battery power.
