Joystick recognized by driver, but not by FSX
I just received my new Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick today and either the joystick or FSX seems to be having some issues. I have the latest version of the driver for the joystick and it tracks the movements on the joystick well. However, FSX isn't showing the joystick in the dropdown list in the settings. I am on Windows 10. Can anyone help? None of the other posts address my problem.

Try changing these Steam settings. In the top left go to Steam->Settings->Controller->General Controller Settings and deselect everything. Then simply close out. Restart FSX and if you go to Controllers in the game under Settings your joystick should be there.
