NB M.2 or Solid State Drive (SSD) is strongly recommended.
The big advantage is that P3D v4.1 is a 64-bit program designed to work with a Windows 10 64-bit operating system which means that it can address an unlimited amount of physical memory without any need for a swapfile or paging file virtual memory.
I am using FSX and have not spent the money to reinvent the wheel as you have.

Also given P3D 4.1 is 64 bit there is practicaly no compatability with FSX addins and you would likely need to repurchase addins specifically for P3D 4.1, that is if they are available to be able to purchase.
I also have P3D (version 3.4) and you'll find in this thread the differences I've noted...

These old small planes in the video are not particularly interesting.
How about a military, coastguard, emergency and rescue package?
Yes it has GA type aircraft at present but is advancing and has had around 16 updates since being available for purchase on Steam and the updates keep coming with one due tomorrow I believe.
The default aircraft are of a pretty high standard as well.
I've pushed most of my scenery into it, including Bluesky, FreeeMesh, Orbx Vector, all Orbx Global regions and Australia and New Zealand North and South Islands. Also pumped some Rex textures into it as well.
Yes it's not a direct replacement for FSX as yet but it is fun to fly (I happen to prefer GA type flying) and it has great missions as well as a host of community created missions all downloadable from Steam.
You missed the bargan it is was over Christmas where it was less than $10 US to buy.
