Why dont you use it?
There are only a limited number of airplane types within the game, at least with the core download...?
Im very new to this , so I hate to sound ignorant.
I bought a Saitek X52 joystick and item for thrust...love it! I am thinking if I should get pedals...but my computer only has so many USB ports, LOL
I want to flly a classic Eastern Airlines 727 ,just seems cool to me...IDK why?! LOL
Buy a powered USB hub and you won't run out of ports for pedals. Pedals really makes a big difference in realism and in making planes easier to control, especially for crosswind landings.
