The ball's path is affected by where you hit the ball, in other words, if you hit the ball with the circle reticle slightly high on the cross, the ball will be hit downward. if you are batting RH v RH pitcher, and you hit the ball with reticle too far to the right of the cross, the ball will pull left and go foul. and so on.
Also, obviously the timing of the swing affects where and how the ball will go, the physics of which should be intuitively clear.
to place the reticle before the pitch and wait for the ball to go there is preposterous....
anyway gl
I'm now skill level 70 and really still struggle !! The height is OK, but the number of balls I still hit straight is unbelievable. As a result I run into a lot of double plays. As you say, timing is key. And, maybe I'm being a bad workmen here by blaming the tools, but, picking the speed of ball is what I find hardest. Maybe there's some clues I'm just not picking up on ?
When I say I'm level 70, I'm actually still playing at ego 65. As soon as I go to ego 66 I just can't hit anything so it looks like I've reached about as far as I can.
