Big trouble in little gotham crash when using cyborgs magnetic suit?

My game will shut right down, with windows saying there is a problem, when I try to use cyborgs magnetic suit at the very beginning of this level. Any suggestions? Tried re-starting and lowering resolution....nothing

i might suggest either reverify or reinstalling since it seems like it's probably missing something.

shouldn't, because of the steam cloud. another thing you could do is delete those big files called "game" and then varifiy your game. and hope whatever was wrong gets fixed.

another thing you could try is to try updating your video drivers and your direct x, just to be sure it's not nothing to do with your game. but it sounds very keen on being just your magneto suit

I'm having the exact same issue at the same part in the game. I've tried four times, and the game crashes every time I try to use the magnet at the begninning.

Grom, let me know if you've found a fix!

EDIT: I downgraded ALL of my settings, including DirectX version, and was able to get through this section. No idea why the game would crash here and only here.
