Even though you have unlocked those characters, you still have to purchase them with the studs you collect on the game. I'm having a hard time trying to find out where to purchase them. If anyone knows, please tell us.

Go to the Batcave and pull the lever on a character terminal.

From any of the Hub worlds (Watchtower, Batcave, and of the Lantern planets, etc), just hold your character change button and select the black portraits. As long as you have the studs, you will purchase the character.

I wasnt able to change characters until after Lantern Rage. It seemed that I had to get all of those thing in order first. Do until then and then unlock panels will appear in Watchtower, Hall of Justice and Batcave)

there were character switches all over the watch tower before you got to the different lantern planets. one of them was next to the trophy room in the watch tower, and outside most of the wayward slides.

the only other forseeable reason why you got all the way to that lantern rage is because at that point you found your first character token. which is almost unbelievable.

Is there a way to switch between characters in Hub Worlds? I Press Y (xbox 360) and the list of characters doesn´t appear. But in Free Mode, does.

It should. If it doesn't, you're probably in Batman and Robin, or someone else who has multiple suits. In that case, the top icon has a minifig and a + sign. Choose that to pull up the full list.

Or maybe you haven't progressed far enough in the story yet.

right next to the teleport on the world is at least one character changer.

I did have a problem with some of the transforming chracters not changing, but persistance paid off.

It won't work until you complete the story. Before then, you can visit those switches that will unlock "Free Play" mode. Once you do that, the Y button will become "unlocked" until you play another mission.
