Unable to connect to Lego Batman 3 server (and game does not run from there)

Ever since I installed the Rainbow DLC (3 days ago), the game says that it is "Unable to connect to the LEGO Batman 3 server. Please try again later", and then it does not start - either old game or new game - and stays in a black loading screen forever (trying to connect?). I don't know if it is the DLC (probably not) or the server, but I see others having the same problem. I have tried deleting the local content and re-installing from Steam (even without the Rainbow DLC), but to no avail. Does anyone have any information on that? What is happening with the server? Has TT Games said anything about that? Any patches?

Thank you so much Vincent for the fix.
Perhaps somebody should contact WB about this. All I was told by the support is to update the graphics drivers to the latest version (which of course did not help at all).

Maybe reinstall it or try to verify the integrity of the game cache. It might work: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335&l=english

Hi guys, I think I found a solution, at least it works for me:

1. Press the windows button and write %appdata%
2. Go to the "Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment" folder
3. Go to the "LEGO Batman 3 Beyond Gotham folder"
4. Delte the "gui3" folder (make a backup first)
5. Start the game
6. If it works or not post it here
7. Profit :)

Thanks! I will try this when I get hoke from work tonight. I wanted to play this game so bad last night, since my wife and I live in a house with a metal (or tin - as we like to call it in the country) satelite and 4g have problems coming through. We've switched to cable internet but it wont be a few days til a truck comes all the way out here. I forced myself to play Bioshock, it wasnt a good night lol

I had to add the Batman Server to my firewall and block it in order to run the game
