Okaara free roam Gold Brick Glitch

The Location:
In the Okara free roam hub world. In the building with the grate on the roof that you have to unlock the entrance to with an underwater switch. There are four torches that light as you defeat 4 waves of Orange warriors.

The Glitch:
Only three torches are lighting and no more warriors are spawning. This leaves the chest with the gold brick shut and unatainable. I have tried this several times, using different characters on repeated visits to Okaara. The glitch is the same each time. I have watched playthroughs and they show all 4 torches being lit after all the Orange warriors are defeated and the brick being released, these are all recorded from the console versions though, not the Steam version.

Has anyone else experienced this glitch? Or found a way around it?

I had the same bug. The last enemy spawned into the floor. I used Killer Croc to smash the ground until that last enemy died.

Thanks! Had the same problem but the Killer Croc trick worked.
