Game breaking glitch: Can't enter the rocket on Space suits you sir

After the flash builds the rocket to enter the tower, the icon to enter the rocket doesn't appear, and even when I press U regardless of the icon, it doesn't work, so I can't progress the game. I have several things, restarting the mission, restarting the game, using different characters, but so far nothing has solved it.

Have a look at this video, usually when something doesn't trigger it's because you are missing something that's required but perhaps not obvious.

No there isn't any step that I missed. I watched multiple walktroughs already and there definately is something wrong in my case, since every time I see them build the cannon and then being able to enter it immediately. That's just not the case in my game.

Have you tried to drop your settings to (graphics and resolution) minimum? That can help some users.

I have the same problem and nothing helps, tried to change resolution and all video settings to lowest - no success. just can't hop to the cannon which Flash build.
