Game screen is white when I start up the game

Yesterday I played this game and it worked fine, but now whenever I open the game the screen is just white. How do I fix this? My windows updated but I don't see why that would break anything.

I've checked all the settings mentioned there, and they all seem correct but it's still white

Sorry it didn't work for your problem :(
You could try a compatibility mode in the exe. file Properties along with 'run as admin' (in the same place) to see if that makes a difference. There's also a very basic troubleshooter available in the exe. file Properties while you're there. It's not great but it has solved a couple of my Lego problems.

That was it, I used the troubleshooter on the exe and set it to windows 8 compatibility mode and now it works again. Thanks for the help!
