"Same Bat-Time! Same Bat-Channel!" glitch

I've got an issue in the "Same Bat-Time! Same Bat-Channel!" level where Batman won't throw his bombs, he just drops them. I've tried this with and without the controller. I hold the button down, but when I let go, the bomb doesn't throw - it just stays on the aiming reticule. I have to press the button again for it to go away, and when I do, it just drops the bomb rather than throwing it. Turning vsync on didn't help. Any help would be appreciated :)
